Mauro Molino is a family owned winery founded in 1982 in La Morra, Piedmont, when Mauro released his first Barolo label after training in agronomy and oenology. Through the 1990s the estate expanded with acquisitions of prime vineyards such as Berri, and the winery became focused on expressing distinct cru sites in its Barolo and other Piedmont wines. In the early 2000s the second generation, including Matteo and Martina who trained at the Alba School of Enology, joined the business and modernized winemaking while keeping a strong commitment to tradition and sustainability. The estate operates from its base in the Annunziata area of La Morra and offers tastings and visits by reservation.
