Tenuta Poggio Il Castellare, located in Montalcino, Italy, is one of the region's oldest wineries, with roots dating back to 1489. The Baroncini family began their winemaking journey in this historic area, known since Etruscan times for its rich viticulture. The estate spans 40 hectares, featuring seven hectares dedicated to organic farming, two hectares of truffle fields, and three hectares of woodland filled with medicinal herbs. In 1998, Bruna Baroncini and her nephew Samuele took ownership, continuing a legacy that has flourished for over 500 years.
